*Wednesday, NOVEMBER 29* SAGAG General Meeting (on Zoom)
Save the Date

We are very excited to announce that our November Guest Speaker will be Cameron Baxter Lewis, Director of Emergency Relief and Recovery Services for CERF+.

The Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+) serves craft artists across the United States and territories by providing education programs, advocacy, network building, and emergency relief.

Cameron manages CERF+'s emergency grant program and galvanizes other national, regional and local resources, while building networks and coordinating with CERF's numerous partners to assist artists in their time of need. Cameron has more than a decade of experience working in volunteer management, training and development, recruitment, and disaster preparedness and response programs.

When the recent wildfires broke out in Maui, CERF+ immediately reached out to partners in Hawaii. CERF+ is currently providing emergency relief grants to craft artists from Lahaina and expects to receive many more applications in the coming weeks.  Cameron will tell us about the help that CERF+ provides to artists in disaster situations. Please join us online for this very interesting Zoom meeting.
