Where: Wyndham San Antonio Riverwalk, 111 E. Pecan St.
Where: June 1 & 2 Pre-conference classes, June 3 & 4 Conference

From the conference website: a greatly expanded educational forum. Notable international guests include Helen Whittaker, Keith Barley, and Steve Cowan from the United Kingdom. Speakers include artists Susan Stinsmuehlen-Amend, Sasha Zhitneva, J. Kenneth Leap, Laurel Porcari, conservator Mary Clerkin Higgins, and historian Rolf Achilles. In addition, we will hear from Old World Stone's Laurie Wells, and J. Sussman's Robin Sussman.

This year, we are excited to have so many glass manufacturers joining us and we will hear from all of them during the Art Glass Manufacturing Forum. And we would be remiss to not take advantage of having so many renowned restoration and conservation specialists with us: Keith Barley, Barley Studio, U.K.; Mary Clerkin Higgins, Clerkin Higgins Stained Glass, Inc.; Ralph Mills, Pittsburgh Stained Glass Studio; Vic Rothman, Victor Rothman for Stained Glass;  Ariana Makau, Nzilani Glass Conservation and others will lead a Restoration Panel.

San Antonio Glass Art Guild
(SAGAG)

San Antonio has a young growing guild of glass artists and enthusiasts who come together from a variety of disciplines including warm, cold and hot glass. We meet monthly with the exception of August and December. It's a great opportunity to meet people who have a passion for glass. We talk, learn and enjoy each others' company. If this is something you might be interested in, please come and join us.
